Our Commitment to Quality Control
Quality is the foundation of every custom medal, challenge coin, lapel pin, and keychain we produce. At Sino Awards, we operate a multi-stage quality control system that starts before production and ends only after the final package is sealed. With 18+ years of manufacturing experience and a 100-person team, we understand that consistent quality is what turns first-time buyers into long-term partners.
Our factory in Dongguan, China, follows strict inspection protocols at each step of the manufacturing process. From raw material verification to final shipment, every product is checked against the approved digital proof, your specifications, and our internal quality standards.
Raw Material Inspection
Before any production begins, we inspect incoming metals and materials for purity, thickness, color consistency, and defects. Approved materials are logged and stored in a controlled environment to prevent oxidation or contamination.
In-Process QC
During stamping, casting, coloring, plating, and polishing, trained QC personnel check samples from each batch. We verify dimensions, weight, color accuracy, plating adhesion, and surface finish against the approved proof.
Final Inspection
After production, every piece undergoes a final visual and dimensional inspection. We reject items with scratches, discoloration, missing color, or misaligned details before they reach packaging.
Packaging Check
We verify counts, inspect packaging materials, and ensure each shipment is packed to prevent damage during international transit. Custom packaging is checked for correct branding and presentation.

- Dimensional accuracy: Size and thickness match approved specifications
- Surface finish: Smooth edges, no burrs, consistent plating
- Color matching: Enamel colors matched to Pantone codes where provided
- Logo clarity: Fine details, text, and artwork reproduced correctly
- Attachment security: Ribbons, clasps, and posts firmly attached
- Packaging integrity: Correct quantity, clean presentation, export-ready packing
What Happens If There Is a Quality Issue?
In the rare event that a quality issue is discovered, we work quickly to resolve it. Clients should report any problems within 7 days of receiving the goods. Depending on the situation, we may offer re-production, replacement, or a refund. Our goal is to protect your reputation and ensure you are confident placing your next order.
